【摘要】:Thisspecificationappliestoeyeprotectivedevices,designedforusebyplayersofthesportofpaintball,thatminimizeorsignificantlyreduceinjurytotheeyeandadnexaduetoimpactandpenetrationofpaintballs.Eyeprotectivedevicesmeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationoffersprotectiontotheeyesandadnexaandnotnecessarilytoanyotherpartsofthehead.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThisspecificationdoesnotlimitthewearingofeyeglassesorcontactlenseswhenusedinconjunctionwiththeEPD.
