【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoverstheminimumperformanceandmaterialrequirementsforresilientconnectorsusedforconnectionsbetweenprecastreinforcedconcretemanholesconformingtoSpecificationC478andpipes,andbetweenprecastreinforcedconcretepipeandlaterals.1.1.1Theseconnectorsaredesignedtominimizeleakagebetweenthepipeandmanhole,andbetweenthepipeandlateral.1.2ThisspecificationistheSIcompaniontoSpecificationC923.Note18212;Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andperformanceoftheresilientconnectiononly.Connectionscoveredbythisspecificationareadequateforhydrostaticpressuresupto70kPa(7.1m)withoutleakagewhentestedinaccordancewithSection7.Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledsystemaredependentuponmanyfactorsotherthantheconnectionsbetweenmanholestructuresandpipe,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.1.3Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionstatement,see7.2.5.
