【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscorrugatedsteelstructuralplate,zinc-coated,usedintheconstructionofpipe,pipe-arches,arches,underpasses,andspecialshapesforfieldassembly.Appropriatefastenersandaccessorymaterialsarealsodescribed.Thepipe,arches,andothershapesaregenerallyusedfordrainagepurposes,pedestrianandvehicularunderpasses,andutilitytunnels.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenearthcoverloadandplatethicknessofthepipe.Experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionofplatethickness,typeofbeddingandbackfill,manufactureintheplant,andcareintheinstallation.Thepurchasermustcorrelatetheprecedingfactorsandalsothecorrosionandabrasionrequirementsofthefieldinstallationwiththeplatethickness.ThestructuraldesignofcorrugatedsteelstructuralplatepipeandtheproperinstallationproceduresaredescribedinPracticesA796/A796MandA807/A807M.1.3Thisspecificationisapplicabletoordersineitherinch-poundunits(asA761)orSIunits(asA761M).Inch-poundunitsandSIunitsarenotnecessarilyequivalent.SIunitsareshowninbracketsinthetext,buttheyaretheapplicablevalueswhenthematerialisorderedtoA761M.1.4Thisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisspecification.
